Boss Monster: Tools of Hero-Kind Expansion

The hero cards finally fight back instead of just dying to my traps, and that twist alone makes this expansion worth grabbing. I love that it slots right into the base game without any rulebook headaches, so we were playing within five minutes of opening the box.

The new hero cards are a blast—they actually fight back now, which changes the whole dungeon strategy. The artwork on the "Tool" cards is also a nice touch, really adds to the classic video game vibe.

The new hero cards add a fun twist, letting adventurers actually disrupt your dungeon plans instead of just getting squashed. I just wish the expansion came with a few more cards for the price. Still, it shakes up the base game nicely.
