كوميكان - مجموعة لودوس أمريكا

The compact travel box makes it easy to take to game nights, and the alpaca-capture mechanics are simple yet surprisingly strategic. My family picked up the rules in under five minutes, and we've already played three rounds.

I love how the game teaches you a bit of Mapuche culture while you play, and the wooden pieces feel really nice to handle. It’s simple to learn but the strategy keeps each match interesting, which is exactly what I wanted for family game night.

The game board itself is sturdy and the alpaca pieces have a nice weight to them, which makes setting up feel substantial. I wish the instructions included a bit more cultural context about the Mapuche origins, but the gameplay is surprisingly strategic once you get the hang of it.
