Rolled my cabin onto a tiny island and immediately felt the competitive joy of the whole table groaning — the placement stakes get surprisingly tense with friends. The mix of lakefronts, islands, and city plots keeps every round feeling fresh, and the charming art makes even losing a spot fun.

The whole “toss your cabin like dice” mechanic is way more fun than it sounds, and the way plots get snatched mid-round keeps everyone on their toes. It’s a solid pick for game night, though setup takes a bit longer than I’d like.

The dice-rolling mechanic is really clever and keeps everyone on edge, and the charming lakefront artwork makes it easy to get pulled into the theme. Only gripe is that turns can drag a bit with four players, but it’s still a solid pick for game night.
