We played this last night and the number-matching twist made it feel like a fresh take on the classic. The "match two numbers" rule really changes the strategy, and it kept everyone engaged until the very end.

The fact that you only need two matching cards to lay down instead of four speeds up the game nicely. My kids caught on in one round and have been asking to play every night.

We've already had hours of fun with this, the number-matching twist makes it way more strategic than the original game. It's simple enough to teach in a minute but keeps everyone on their toes trying to get down to zero cards.
