7 Wonders - Architects: Medals Expansion

I was skeptical about adding more complexity to Architects, but the Medals expansion really streamlines things—the way it gives you a clear path to victory without making the game longer is genius. My first game with it ended in a nail-biting tiebreaker.

The medal system adds a fantastic new layer of strategy—I found myself planning each move around the objectives instead of just rushing my Wonder. It really makes every decision feel more meaningful without bogging down the game pace.

The medals add a nice layer of competition without slowing down the game much. I like that you can now win by focusing on objectives rather than just rushing your wonder. One small thing: the medal tokens feel a bit thin, but they work fine.
