I love how fast the 18 workers make the game feel, with each turn offering meaningful decisions. The whole island theme really comes

The keyple worker pieces are surprisingly satisfying to move around the harbours, and the dice-driven decisions keep each turn tense. I've played three times already and still find new strategies for directing the boats. A genuinely clever game that’s easy to teach but hard to master.

I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the keyples started feeling like a real workforce, and the 12 harbours keep the board from ever feeling too cramped. My only minor gripe is that the rulebook could have explained boat movement a bit clearer on the first read.
