ラ・ハバナ

I love how the action cards force you to balance collecting materials, rubble, and workers—there’s a real tension every turn. The game captures that feeling of building a city from scratch, and it’s surprisingly tense for a family-weight game. Played it three times in one evening.

The card-based action system is a clever way to collect resources, but the rules took a couple of read-throughs to fully click for everyone. It’s a decent strategy game once you get the hang of it, though I wish the box included a quick-reference guide for new players.
