ハドリアヌスの長城

The scratch-off progress sheets for each of the six years give me that satisfying sense of building something tangible, and the puzzle of juggling workers and resources each round is just tight enough to keep me coming back. I've already played it three times this week.

I was worried this would feel repetitive after a few plays, but the variety of strategies for building your milecastle keeps every game fresh. The decision to allocate workers and resources differently each round really makes you think like a Roman general.

The six rounds give just the right amount of time to build a satisfying fort without dragging on. I love how each decision about the wall and milecastle feels like it actually matters for the final score.
