Got this to the table last night and the cartography mechanic had us all planning our routes like actual mapmakers. The mix of exploring, mapping, and astronomy keeps everyone engaged even between turns. Setup took a bit, but once we got going it was worth it.

The map-building mechanic really makes you feel like you're charting unknown territory, and the way the dice are used for actions keeps every turn engaging. I've already played it three times this week and found new strategies each time.

The rulebook could use a better index for the dice placement actions, but the way the astronomy track interacts with the cartography tiles creates some satisfying combos. It’s a bit fiddly to learn but the depth is there once you get the hang of it.
