Urban Shadows 2E: Core Book

The debt and corruption mechanics make the city feel genuinely alive, and the faction playbooks give every character a clear reason to scheme. I’ve run three sessions already and the political tension has been the most fun I’ve had at a table in years.

The faction playbooks are laid out so clearly that I was able to jump straight into creating a vampire character without flipping back and forth. The political tension between the different supernatural groups feels genuinely alive on the page.

Finally got my hands on the core book and the faction playbooks are exactly what I needed to kick off a political campaign. The city-creation rules make setting up a living, breathing urban fantasy world feel effortless.
