The cut-and-insert system is surprisingly addictive, and the calico pattern on the paper looks even better in person once the light hits it. I finished the whole thing in one rainy afternoon and it’s now the most charming thing on my shelf.
The pre-cut pieces punch out cleanly and the predrilled holes line up perfectly, so the whole calico cat came together in about an hour. It's a bit fiddly at the ears, but the finished 3D model looks great on my shelf.
