Middara: Vestalia 2023 Resin Kit B

The detail on Effie’s armor is insane—every little buckle and rivet pops, and the resin feels solid without being brittle. Zafir’s pose alone makes me want to field him just to show him off at the table.

I’m really impressed with the detail on these resin miniatures—Zafir's armor sculpting is sharp and clean. The finish is smoother than I expected from a kit, though a couple of the bases had tiny mold lines I had to clean up. Still, a solid set for the price if you’re painting your own squad.

The resin quality feels noticeably sturdier than other kits I've painted, though Zafir’s sword arrived with a tiny bend that hot water fixed in seconds. Padric’s sculpt has some seriously crisp cloak folds that took shading beautifully—just wish the base came with a bit more texture.
