I've been working through these cases on my commute and the puzzles are clever enough to keep me engaged without being frustrating. The illustrations are beautiful, and the way each mystery builds on the last makes it feel like a real detective story.

I was hoping this would feel more like a real mystery game, but the puzzles are a bit too straightforward once you get the hang of them. The vintage-style illustrations are lovely, though, and the premise of playing the sidekick is fun for a while.
